Job Summary
As a member of the Firm’s Talent Management team, the Lateral Recruiting & Integration Coordinator supports offices and practice groups firmwide throughout the lateral attorney recruiting and integration process. Education
Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years of relevant work experience
Computer/Software Knowledge
Up to 10%. Travel to other US offices for firm and recruiting events, as necessary.
Illinois: The salary range for this position is: $41.00- $47.00 per hour. This position is eligible for bonuses. This position is also eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance. Washington DC: The pay range for this position is: $38.00- $44.00 per hour. Medical, vision, and dental coverage is available, including coverage for dependents and domestic partners. Essential Functions
- Support the full lifecycle of lateral attorney recruiting across multiple offices and practice groups.
- Partner with senior recruiting team members to develop recruiting strategies and identify top legal talent.
- Maintain applicant tracking data and ensure the integrity and accuracy of recruiting records and reports.
- Draft compelling job descriptions and source attorney candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Coordinate interviews, prepare interview materials, collect feedback, and facilitate timely communication throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with legal search firms.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and assist with the successful integration of newly hired attorneys.
- Partner with other administrative departments to deliver a seamless candidate and onboarding experience.
- Prepare recruiting metrics, reports, and market research to support strategic hiring initiatives.
- Contribute to national recruiting initiatives, projects, and continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate all administrative and logistical aspects of the lateral attorney recruiting process.
- Source and identify qualified attorney candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting resources.
- Schedule interviews and manage communications with candidates, attorneys, and search firms.
- Maintain recruiting databases and applicant tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and integration activities for lateral attorneys.
- Review recruiting feedback, candidate surveys, and integration metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor legal recruiting market developments and provide relevant industry information to recruiting leadership.
- Assist with firmwide recruiting initiatives and special projects as assigned
- 1–2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or law firm experience. Prior legal or professional services recruiting experience is preferred.

Education

Computer/Software Knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with applicant tracking system
- LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms
- Knowledge of Flo, viDesktop, and NetDocs systems is a plus.
- Advanced technical skills is helpful.
- Working indoors with limited exposure to hazards (only those that customarily exist when working in a high-rise building).
- Indoor office work environment.
- The current Firm policy is hybrid–working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week and working from home the rest of the week (subject to change).
- Overtime will be required as job duties demand.
