Ice cream & Coffee, Concessions, Food & Beverage

Looking for friendly and outgoing folks to help in our Ice Cream, Coffee, Candy shop as well as at our various concessions stands.

To successfully perform this role, employees must meet the following requirements:

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient guest service at all times, creating a positive experience for every visitor
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
• Accurately take orders, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, and process credit card transactions
• Prepare, serve, and present food and beverages according to Shepherd of the Hills standards and health regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times, including front- and back-of-house areas
• Follow all food safety, and sanitation, laws and guidelines, including holding or obtaining required certifications
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and appearance standards
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers
• Adapt to working in multiple food & beverage locations as scheduled
• Handle high-volume service periods while remaining calm, efficient, and guest-focused
• Refrain from allowing friends or family members to loiter in work areas while on duty
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned

Food Safety

• Food handler's permit or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–50 pounds

Skills & Abilities 

• Ability to operate a POS/cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Basic math skills for making change and processing transactions.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion standards consistently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills. 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-pased environment.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
