Overview
Join our team as a Dental Billing Specialist and help drive the financial success of our practice. You’ll handle claim submission, insurance follow-ups, and patient billing with accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will keep our revenue cycle strong and patients well-supported in a fast-paced, positive environment.
Duties
- Submit and track insurance claims (primary & secondary)
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
- Post payments (insurance & patient) accurately in PMS
- Follow up on unpaid/denied claims and resolve issues
- Communicate with insurance companies for claim status
- Generate patient statements and manage billing inquiries
- Collect outstanding balances and coordinate payment plans
- Ensure accurate coding (CDT) and documentation compliance
- Maintain aging reports and meet collection targets
Key Skills:
- Experience with dental PMS (e.g., CareStack, Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing and EOBs
- Attention to detail and organization
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
