We are seeking a versatile, bilingual Dental Billing & Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively support our diverse patient base.
You will manage our PPO insurance billing cycle, submit claims, and serve as the welcoming face and voice of our practice by handling daily front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
PPO Claims Management: Prepare, submit, and track PPO dental insurance claims electronically. Insurance Verification: Verify patient eligibility, breakdown benefits, and secure pre-authorizations before appointments. Front Desk Operations: Answer multi-line phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage the daily check-in/check-out flow. Bilingual Support: Translate treatment plans, explain financial responsibilities, and assist Spanish-speaking patients. Payment Processing: Post insurance EOBs, collect patient copays, and manage daily financial balancing. Denials & Appeals: Investigate rejected PPO claims, draft appeals, and submit supporting clinical documentation. Accounts Receivable: Review aging reports weekly to minimize outstanding insurance and patient balances.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in dental billing and front office administration. Insurance Expertise: Strong working knowledge of PPO insurance plans, fee schedules, and CDT codes. Proven ability to balance high-volume billing tasks.
Compensation Pay Rate: (Dependent on experience)
