Shenandoah University’s Child Care Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Substitute. This is a full-time benefited position located in Winchester, Virginia.
Purpose / Essential Job Function :
Help teacher maintain an organized classroom that is positive, safe, fun and educational for the children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist teacher in daily activities
- Maintain frequent communications with parents about their child’s day
- Learn and Implement all center policies and state regulations
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Feed, Diaper and potty-train children
- Clean and sanitize classroom, toys and tables
- Interact with children throughout the day
