Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Driving cars, trucks, forklifts, or other equipment
- Moving debris with shovels
- Crawling and kneeling in confined spaces and access areas
- Lifting and removing manhole covers
- Picking up, sorting, and delivering inventory
- Working around equipment and machinery
- Working around biohazards such as bloodborne pathogens and sewage
- Occasional use of special visual or auditory equipment such as goggles and earplugs
- Occasional exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness, excessive noise, and working at heights
- Traveling to job sites during the workweek and occasionally stay overnight as needed, depending on project
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Knowledge of confined space entry, cleaning sewer lines, and construction safety
- Must have strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including a DOT physical and drug screen
- Flexibility to travel out of town during the workweek as needed, depending on job location
