Shelton Veterinary Care is a small animal practice located in Shelbyville, IN. for a Veterinary Assistant. We are doctor owned and not a part of a corporation.
The individual we are looking for must be reliable, friendly, highly motivated, a team player and have a flexible work schedule.
The candidate must have veterinary experience in a veterinary office.
It is required that the candidate maintain a caring and compassionate personality, and be excellent at client interaction.
No weekends. 4 day work week.
This is a full time position, but we will consider part time, if desired.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Personal Requirements: Enthusiastic with a positive attitude, highly motivated with a desire to learn, be a great team player, have the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members and be committed to providing the highest level of patient care.
Job Requirements: Assist RVT's; Assist DVM's in the exam room, dispense medication, collect urine samples, assist reception staff, as well as other duties required by the job.
