What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll work closely with our doctors and technicians to provide high-quality patient care while helping appointments run smoothly. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with technician appointments
- Safely restraining patients for examinations and treatments
- Administering vaccines (as permitted)
- Performing nail trims and anal gland expressions
- Assisting with blood draws and laboratory sample collection
- Preparing patients and treatment areas
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Supporting doctors and technicians with patient care throughout the day
- Creating a positive, welcoming experience for both clients and their pets

The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is motivated to learn and grow in veterinary medicine

- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoys working collaboratively with a team

- Can work independently while also taking direction when needed
- Has knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures (preferred)
- Has experience with veterinary software (preferred but not required)
