Personal Injury Legal Assistant
Our growing law firm in Shelton, CT is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have prior law office experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with new client intake and gather relevant case information.
· Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties.
· Request, organize, and track medical records and bills.
· Prepare correspondence and legal documents.
· Maintain accurate, well-organized electronic and paper case files.
· Provide exceptional client service throughout the legal process.
· Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· Prior experience as a personal injury legal assistant.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional, compassionate approach to client service.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
