Shelter Rock Management, LLC (shelterrockmanagement.com) is a New York based investment advisor. We manage growth and income separately account strategies for high-net worth families, corporations and institutional investors on Fidelity's platform.
Our strategies have produced strong long-term returns and several received Morningstar's highest 5-star overall rating in the third quarter of this year. This includes our Equity Income strategy for moderate profiled investors. Our newest Equity Alt strategy was recently introduced for growth-oriented investors. It is invested in US large cap stocks and ETFs that track alternative assets, including gold and Bitcoin.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a sales professional who has pre-existing relationships with high-net worth, ultra-high net worth, family office, corporate/institutional and/or independent RIA owners to introduce our strategies to new prospective clients for investment. This position will be focused on business development for prospective clients that meet our $250,000 minimum investment requirement.
Responsibilities:
o Creating emails, making phone calls and networking with prospective investors with the goal of scheduling in-person and zoom meetings with these investors and Shelter Rock’s Chief Investment Officer.
o Following up with phone calls and emails
o Maintaining detailed notes/spreadsheet to document interactions and indications of interest, non-interest and other feedback from prospective investors.
Requirements:
- 2 years of selling experienced. Recent experience directly selling investment products and strategies to HNW, UHNW, family offices.
- Existing relationships with high-net worth, ultra-high net worth, family office, corporate/institutional and/or independent RIA owners
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Team player who is motivated to succeed and has an entrepreneurial spirit
- Hybrid role: Willing to work from our office in Long Island at least 1 to 2 days/week.
Compensation:
Retainer plus commissions. Total compensation expected to well exceed six-figures in the first year and unlimited upside potential in the years thereafter.
Salary : $30,000 - $40,000
