Duties
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, building rapport and identifying their insurance needs across health, life, property, and casualty lines
- Conduct thorough client consultations to explain policy options, coverage details, and benefits while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations
- Negotiate terms and premiums to secure optimal solutions for clients while meeting company sales targets
- Manage client relationships using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track interactions, follow-ups, and policy renewals
- Assist clients with benefits administration, claims processes, and policy adjustments to enhance customer satisfaction
- Stay informed on industry trends, insurance regulation updates, and product knowledge in health, life, commercial, and property casualty insurance sectors
- Collaborate with team members on sales strategies and participate in ongoing training to sharpen analysis skills and product expertise
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on client communication and negotiation
- Strong understanding of insurance products including health, life, property, casualty, and commercial insurance policies
- Familiarity with insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and benefits administration practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and CRM systems for effective sales administration
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse client bases
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend suitable coverage options
- Exceptional communication skills to build trust with clients and articulate complex insurance concepts clearly
