Front Desk Associate – Shelter Harbor Inn
Location: Westerly, RI
We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Associate to join our team at Shelter Harbor Inn. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs, and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests in a warm, professional manner
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and payment processing
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries promptly
- Provide local information and recommendations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and care
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
Requirements:
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (experience with reservation systems a plus)
- Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
