DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hands-on support for daily FBO operations, including scheduling, resource management, and equipment maintenance, while assisting or serving as an acting Line Service Manager at the specific base.
- Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards across multiple locations, while. Findings will be submitted to base GM along with the RVP and SVP of FBO operation.
- Oversee financial performance, labor utilization, inventory control along with quality control inspections.
- Ensure strict compliance with corporate service standards, safety regulations, and security protocols.
- Coordinate and lead line service activities—including fueling, ground handling, and hangar operations—while delivering on-site leadership and support.
- Provide support to bases in the use of various software systems, including troubleshooting issues related to X1, WingWare, JetQC, and Airplx.
- Supervise and mentor line service staff, including conducting performance evaluations, managing disciplinary actions, and supporting employment transitions while serving as the acting Line Service Manager.
- Foster strong professional relationships with team members, location managers, and key stakeholders to promote collaboration and operational alignment.
- Lead or support the hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of line service personnel during assignments at various FBO locations.
- Assist in facilitating monthly safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety directives and company policies.
- Perform a minimum of two to three base visits per month, when not supporting a base.
- Provide on-site support for special events at FBO locations as needed, ensuring smooth execution and operational readiness.
- Serve as a key support resource during emergencies, working closely with management and staff to coordinate an effective response.
- Participate as a member of the GO TEAM for new location start-ups, assisting with setup, training, and initial operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three (3) years of aviation experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Extensive knowledge of customer service best practices and operational training.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (X1) software and the ability to train others.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to design, deliver, and manage training programs in both classroom and online settings.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards in aviation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Training, or a related field (preferred).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- On-site presence required with flexibility for travel to multiple FBO locations.
- May involve irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet training and operational needs.
- Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and attention to detail.
