Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Production Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. As a key driver of project success, you will coordinate diverse teams, manage schedules, and ensure seamless communication across all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using CRM and other construction management software to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows and resolve issues promptly.
- Review takeoffs, schematics, and contracts to verify project scope and technical requirements.
- Monitor project budgets and costs through construction estimating techniques while managing resource allocation effectively.
- Lead project meetings for progress updates, risk assessments, and schedule adjustments; ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, compliance with plans, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Manage project documentation including reports, logs, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
- Facilitate contract negotiations and enforce contractual obligations throughout the construction lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role with a strong background in residential and commercial projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations.
- Skilled in using construction management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict time management discipline.
- Strong understanding of contracts, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes on construction sites.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including subcontractors and suppliers; background in roofing or remodeling a plus.
