Position Summary
This position works under general direction of Management in a high to moderate security setting. Performs a variety of administrative/intermediate level duties that include but are not limited to analyzing, processing and maintaining confidential information from various databases.
Grade 43
Salary Commensurate with Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or possess a GED; AND
2. Three (3) years appropriate clerical, bookkeeping, data processing or statistical experience and one (1) year college study; OR
3. Four (4) years related experience.
4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Receives and records information from various departments and agencies.
2. Verifies information compiled, analyzed, recorded and maintained.
3. Maintains confidential records.
4. Determines the nature of records.
5. Corresponds with outside entities in writing or via phone regarding documentation requests.
6. Assists the Supervisor/Manager with maintaining accurate records and requests submitted.
7. Performs scheduled reviews of records as directed by Administration and policy.
8. Prepares, comprehends and interpret legal and court documentation.
9. Accurately enters data into computer systems, retrieving files as needed.
10. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

1. Ability to prepare reports, proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word software applications.
2. Ability to work in a confidential team setting.
3. Ability to plan, organize and maintain an even flow of work.
4. Ability to compose general correspondence, write, and type documents for a variety of needs.

1. Must be able to pass a drug test.
2. Must be able to work in a prison environment.
3. Participate in annual in-service and other training programs as required.
