Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math calculations
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
- Assist in food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with café operations
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift light supplies when necessary
- Experience in coffee experience, serving, or the food industry is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
