Position Summary
We’re seeking a full-time Flat Lay Photographer for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. This individual should be experienced in photography, lighting, and has a successful track record in the fashion and ecommerce industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Experienced in ecommerce flat lay photography in a studio environment
- Shooting and styling various categories e.g. shoes, jewelry and clothing
- Partner with creative team to build creative concepts, backgrounds and themes for flat lay images
- Manage lighting and set designs for daily projects and shoots
- Troubleshoot problems urgently
- Produce quality work with proper angles and follow directive of each project
- Support with maintenance and organization of studio space, props, and equipment
- 2 years of experience in photography within the fashion ecommerce industry
- Knowledge of common digital cameras (Canon DSLRs), various lighting environments (Strobe, LED), and other photo best practices
- Knowledge and experience with in studio lighting, and a focus on Still Life
- Styling experience to prove ‘tricks of the trade’ for still product, set design, and props
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volume studio workflow, executing imagery under tight deadlines including planning and prioritization
- Ability to shoot multiple product types across a variety of categories
- Proficient with CaptureOne and Photoshop editing / retouching
- Understanding of color theory
- Strong organizational skills for asset management and basic computer knowledge Microsoft Suite
- Ability to create seasonal creative decks for product refresh
- Great communication skills as this role will partner with cross functional teams
