- Communicate with customers to understand expectations and issues
- Enter customer sales orders
- Track existing orders in order to expedite if necessary or discuss with customers
- Track inbound material
- Understand the computer system as it relates to work orders, sales orders, receiving, and inventory costs
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum of three years of customer service experience in flat-rolled steel
- A professional demeanor and an ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors
- The ability to make sound business decisions utilizing the data at hand
- Strong data entry and math skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word
