The College of Business and Engineering Technology at Shawnee State University is seeking qualified individuals beginning Fall Semester to serve as Part-time Faculty (Adjunct) in the Department of Engineering Technologies. The Department of Engineering Technologies offers a diverse set of programs/courses in the areas listed below:

Adjunct faculty at SSU are also eligible for tuition waivers () and enjoy professional development opportunities, office space, and limited mileage reimbursement. They and their family (children 14 years and up) also have free access to the Rhodes Athletic Facility.

- Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate degree in the respective discipline or related area
- Ability to use technology in teaching
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening - daytime availability a plus (in some cases may be required)
