Job Description
The College of Business and Engineering Technology at Shawnee State University is seeking qualified individuals beginning Fall Semester to serve as Part-time Faculty (Adjunct) in the Department of Engineering Technologies. The Department of Engineering Technologies offers a diverse set of programs/courses in the areas listed below:

• Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing Technology (CAD)
• Computer Engineering Technology
• Digital Simulation & Gaming
• Electromechanical Engineering Technology
• Information Security
• Plastics Engineering Technology
• Machine Tools

• Teaching experience in related discipline is preferred.
• Work experience in related discipline is preferred.
• Professional certification/licensure/credentials/degree in the respective area when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE)
Qualifications can vary depending on experience and courses or programs, but include the following:

1. Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate degree in the respective discipline or related area
2. Ability to use technology in teaching
3. Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
4. Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
5. Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening - daytime availability a plus (in some cases may be required)
