Job Title Technical Manager Position Overview The Technical Manager will provide comprehensive technical leadership and support for products and processes within the Resilient operations. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for driving process innovation, overseeing quality control activities, and ensuring the successful introduction and implementation of new products, raw materials, and product modifications within Plant RP. The Technical Manager will collaborate closely with the Product Development, Technical Development, and Sourcing teams to ensure that all changes meet established performance and manufacturing standards. This position will serve as a key technical resource for line process engineers, offering guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship to enhance their technical capabilities and overall professional development. Responsibilities Ensure all process and product improvement initiatives are executed using statistically sound methodologies and appropriate analytical tools to drive measurable performance gains. Continuously monitor manufacturing processes and incoming raw materials to identify variability, deviations, or quality concerns. Lead cross-functional efforts to determine root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions. Promote and embed a continuous-improvement mindset throughout the plant by supporting Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured problem-solving methodologies. Build strong collaborative relationships with Product Development, Technical Development, and Sourcing teams to ensure that new products, raw materials, process changes, and product enhancements follow a robust and welldocumented Management of Change (MOC) process. Ensure all products, processes, and changes undergo appropriate testing and validation to confirm they meet required performance, safety, and quality standards before implementation. Oversee the thorough rollout of approved product or process changes, ensuring specifications are updated, documentation is complete, training is provided, and testing results are properly recorded and reviewed. Ensure timely communication of raw material changes to Global Sourcing and other relevant stakeholders to maintain alignment between supply chain, quality, and production. Direct Quality Engineering activities, including product testing and certification, management of quality standards, generation of quality performance reports, and support for field technical issues. Strengthen the technical competencies of production personnel and process engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured skill development initiatives. Partner with the Plant Manager to ensure the facility meets operational, financial, and strategic objectives through optimized processes, consistent quality, and cost-effective manufacturing. Maintain rigorous documentation practices for processes, specifications, testing, and change management. Ensure compliance with internal standards, external regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline required. Minimum of 5 years of engineering, technical leadership, or manufacturing management experience, preferably in a process-driven or continuous manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, product testing, and process control. Proven ability to lead change management efforts involving new products, materials, and process modifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
