Data Visualization Analyst

Shaw Industries is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Visualization Analyst to lead the design, development, and maintenance of all ISC dashboards. This new role will focus on creating a seamless and consistent user experience across all applications. The ideal candidate will bring a design-thinking mindset and strong attention to detail to translate complex datasets into intuitive and actionable visual formats that drive operational insights and decision-making.

The Data Visualization Analyst will partner with key stakeholders across the supply chain organization and the Supply Chain Technology Analytics team to define key metrics and ensure the dashboards deliver impactful and accessible insights that improve business performance.

Responsibilities:

Dashboard Design & User Experience

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into ISC performance.
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and consistent across platforms using modern UX and design principles.
• Translate business needs into effective visualizations that support data-driven decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify KPIs and data visualization needs.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and IT to ensure reliable data pipelines and consistent metric definitions.
• Incorporate user feedback to continuously improve dashboard utility and engagement.

Visual Analytics Strategy & Standardization

• Establish standards and best practices for data visualization within ISC.
• Align visual analytics across teams to ensure consistent presentation and storytelling.
• Support the development of a self-service analytics culture by enabling teams with accessible and standardized tools.

Quality & Governance

• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in all visuals.
• Document visualization logic and maintain version control for dashboards.
• Support data governance efforts in partnership with master data and IT teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Analytics, or related field
• 3 years of experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of design principles, UX/UI standards, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling fundamentals
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and translate complex needs into scalable visual solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and documentation capabilities

Preferred:

• Experience in a supply chain or operations analytics environment
• Familiarity with agile or iterative development methodologies
• Exposure to Figma or other design wireframing tools
• Knowledge of master data structures and governance frameworks
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)

Candidate must be within the surrounding areas of Northern GA/Southern TN.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $107,000.00 per year

Salary : $65,000 - $107,000
