Position Overview
Shaw Industries plant 78 in Aiken, SC is searching for an Accounting Clerk to manage General Administration and control financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Total all expense forms. Use account number assigned to each voucher and split to Plant accordingly.
- Receive match exceptions as requested
- Reconcile PCard Transactions each Month
- Purchase all postage and mail any mail each day
- Order Supplies as needed for each department
- Order Rental Cars and Hotel reservations as needed for travel.
- Order associates meals as requested.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
- Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
- HS Diploma, GED Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel or related computer skills
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Preferred: experience in a manufacturing accounting clerical role

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
