Overview

Shaw Concepts is looking for a highly organized and detail oriented Business Administrator to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the administrative functions of the company such as payroll, tax compliance, recruitment, manage facilities, performing clerical duties and more. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of various administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of employee hours.
  • Support human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Analyze business performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.

  • Use QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting as needed.
  • Develop & Implement new systems & processes to create an efficient operation.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of personal and business information.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in business management software, calendar management and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and human resources practices.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management is advantageous.
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.
  • Office-based role with occasional travel for meetings and business operations.
  • May require occasional extended hours during peak business periods.
