Duties

• Monitor all entry and exit points using CCTV systems and physical patrols to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular surveillance checks across the property, including perimeter fences, parking lots, and building interiors.
• Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activities, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce security protocols by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and staff before granting access.
• Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes.
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating disputes or disturbances effectively.
• Conduct loss prevention measures by observing behaviors that could indicate theft or vandalism.
• Prepare comprehensive shift reports highlighting any incidents, observations, or irregularities encountered during your shift.

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected if not already held.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and alarm systems is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or confrontations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical patrols over extended periods, including standing, walking, and observing attentively throughout overnight shifts.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
