Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL, for a Mortgage Loan Processor. The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing mortgage loan applications. Day-to-day tasks include gathering, reviewing and verifying borrower information, collaborating with underwriters and loan officers, analyzing financial documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records of loan files. The candidate will also handle communication with applicants to address any concerns or additional documentation needs, ensuring a smooth and timely loan processing experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Mortgage Industry processes, guidelines, and compliance
- Experience in Mortgage Loan Processing
- Understanding of Underwriting principles and financial document analysis
- Familiarity with managing Loans and related paperwork
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
- Proficiency in mortgage processing software and tools
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mortgage processing are a plus
