A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for an Integration Architect. This role is ONSITE in Torrance, CA with an initial contract of 7 months, W2 only.

- Meet with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects.
- Design and implement comprehensive API and integration solutions for enterprise clients, aligning with their strategic goals and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintained web services to support business operations and third-party integrations.
- Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on Azure.
- Architect microservices-based systems on AWS and Azure, enhancing system flexibility and performance.
- Manage API lifecycle using Apigee, providing centralized control over API traffic, security, and analytics.
- Attend ARB meetings to understand the new project requirements, as related to API and Integration design, build and implementation solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market.
- Design and implement a cloud-based MFT solution on AWS, enabling secure and scalable file transfers for a global e-commerce platform.
- 10 years in API Design & Management: Expertise in REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and lifecycle tools like Apigee, IBM CloudPak, and DataPower
- 10 years in Microservices & Integration: Deep experience in designing event-driven systems with Kafka and integrating with ERP/CRM platforms
- 8 years in Cloud Platforms: Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, including CI/CD implementation and cloud-native architecture
- 5 years in Managed File Transfer (MFT): Familiar with secure data exchange principles and tools like Axway, GoAnywhere, and Mulesoft
- 10 years in Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of data privacy practices, secure file transfer protocols, and API governance standards
