Data Network Telecom Technician

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local candidates only)

Work Mode: 100% Onsite

Payrate: $29.22/HR on W2

Note: Candidates must be eligible to convert to Full-Time Employment. No visa sponsorship available. (Need only USC or GC Holder)

• Four (4) years of Cable Technician experience in installation and maintenance of:
  
  • Digital computer systems and peripheral equipment, OR
  • Telephone station equipment and related systems
• OR Two (2) years of experience as a Lead Cable Technician

• Education or technical training in:
  
  • Electronics
  • Telecommunications systems
  • Digital computer systems
• Training may substitute for one (1) year of required experience
• Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification
• BICSI certification

• Schedule and coordinate services such as repairs, installations, equipment removal, and preventative maintenance with contractors, vendors, and agencies
• Initiate, coordinate, and complete new, upgrade, and repair projects for network equipment and sites
• Supervise contractor and vendor resources supporting projects
• Install, remove, modify, maintain, and repair communication and electronic equipment including:
  
  • Routers and switches
  • Video equipment
  • Printers and copiers
  • Public address systems and televisions
  • Security systems, alarms, and cameras
  • Remote gate and communication systems
• Install, splice, test, terminate, and repair telecommunications and electrical cabling including:
  
  • Copper
  • Fiber
  • Coaxial cables

• Minimum four (4) years of Cable Technician experience

• Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)
• BICSI certification
