Job Summary:
As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice. Your responsibilities will include Inspect and review patient charts, medical history, ultrasound reports, and/or lab results. Sonographers see no more than 10 pts/day on GE Voluson E 10s and are given ample time to connect with their patient and conduct a quality scan.

Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations and procedures using established AIUM protocols.
- Inspect and review patient charts, medical history, ultrasound reports, and/or lab results.
- Create detailed reports to assist the physician with documentation.
- Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
- Communicate sonographic findings to the physician.
- Provide visual sonographic guidance for successful amniocentesis or CVS procedures.
- Report machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
- Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
- Increase knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
- 1 year clinical experience in OB/GYN setting.
- Experience performing first trimester exams, low risk exams, and fetal anatomy surveys preferred.
- 1 year clinical experience in perinatal/maternal fetal medicine setting, with the ability to perform detailed anatomic surveys.
- Experience in fetal echocardiograms.
- Ability to perform extended Doppler studies.
- Ability to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to perform a variety of obstetric sonographic examinations that require a comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and sonographic principles.
- Ability to implement advanced imaging techniques when medically applicable (3D/4D).
- Knowledge of various sonography equipment.
- Ability to independently guide providers for invasive procedures.
- Recommends changes to improve efficiency, workflows, and/or patient safety.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Salary : $7,000 - $12,000
