About the Role
Resources should have experience in rack & stack, cabling, WLC installations, fiber connectivity, and remote support coordination.
- Need Smart Hands / Network Field Engineers
- Resources should have experience in rack & stack, cabling, WLC installations, fiber connectivity, and remote support coordination.
- Primary Onsite Work
- Stage equipment before cutover.
- Install 2 Cisco 9800 WLCs per site.
- Perform power/network cross-connects, including verifying switchport availability for WLC connections.
- Install/connect required SFPs, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords as per site requirement.
- Support remote team during cutover and validate installation.
- Legacy Equipment Handling (40–50% sites)
- Remove old WLCs, label, pack, and prepare for return shipment.
- Deployment Scope
- Initial pace: 1 site per day for small/medium sites; weekends for large sites.
- Tools / Material Readiness
- Engineers should have console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screws, and be prepared with/verify required SFP modules, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords per site.
- Additional Recruitment Note: Prefer engineers with network implementation / cabling / smart hands background who can handle both installation and physical connectivity verification.
