What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Technician position at Sharp Brains?
Replace defective motherboards, hard drives, SSDs, memory, CPUs, power supplies, fans, batteries, keyboards, screens, and other components.
Perform server hardware replacements including RAID controllers, power modules, and storage drives.
Handle printer and peripheral hardware repairs (rollers, fusers, belts, etc.).
Follow OEM and vendor guidelines for part replacement and handling.
Maintain proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols.
Document all replacements in the ticketing system.
Return defective parts per RMA/warranty requirements.
Work with vendor support for part validation and warranty claim
