What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Technician position at Sharp Brains?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnosis and replacement of Lenovo hardware parts (desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals).
- Handle part replacement requests as per Lenovo warranty/service guidelines.
- Ensure timely completion of part replacement jobs within SLA.
- Accurately document service activity, parts used, and job completion reports.
- Coordinate with Lenovo support team for part validation, RMA, and escalation if required.
- Maintain compliance with Lenovo service standards and ESD safety practices.
- Provide excellent customer service during onsite visits.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience in IT hardware support and part replacement.
- Knowledge of Lenovo product lines (ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, ThinkSystem servers).
- Familiarity with ESD safety and hardware handling procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
