Sharon Middle School- 5 hours - 9:00am - 2:00pm
Sharon Public Schools Nutrition Program seeks self-motivated, energetic staff to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. This position follows policies and procedures for preparing, serving, and distributing food items and meals to students and staff. It is 20 hours per week and follows an academic calendar.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food preparation.
- Knowledge of food service sanitation standards, including procedures to prevent contamination, spoilage, and waste and HACCP regulations.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to do tasks with several steps and to follow an established sequence of tasks with minimal supervision.
- ServeSafe Certification training preferred

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, recipe instructions, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
