Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse, located in Peoria, IL. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patient health, administering medications, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families, documenting patient information, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate and competent care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including patient care, administering medications, and health monitoring
- Experience in patient and family education and effective communication
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and compliant medical records
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Empathy, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach to care
