Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to manage care for both acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients.
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify patient care plans.
• Skill in medication administration and evaluating medication effects.
• Skill in preparing patients for procedures and managing post-operative care.
• Skill in IV venipuncture and blood administration.
• Ability to document care accurately using EMR.

Required Credentials: College diploma of nursing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Shifts: Rotation
• Holiday Shifts: Rotation

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
• Ability to float to multiple units and provide care to diverse patient populations.

Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
