HEAVY MACHINE OPERATOR; FORKLIFT OPERATOR
PART TIME ONLY; (1-3 days per week)
Job Location: SURGOINSVILLE
- MUST BE VERY EXPERIENCED IN OPERATING FORKLIFTS; a knowledge test will be given to any interviewed applicant
- MUST PASS DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK

Description summary
- Monitor and secure warehouse freight
- Operate Heavy Machinery; 5 Ton Forklift, Side loader, ect.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory
- Optimal Safety Mindset, at all times.
Accountabilities
a. Receive, Ship, and Load freight in and out of warehouse b. Load/Unload dry vans, containers, flat beds, ect..
c. Safe Operation of machinery
d. Accuracy of scanning materials in/out of warehouse using RMS scanning gun
Inventory
e. Manages Inventory using a WMS system/RMS Scanning equipment f. Exception reporting for damages or missing items
g. Accuracy of Inventory Reporting and Scanning
Transfers
h. Receiving and Shipping customer transfer orders in WMS i. Fulfill pick orders for transferred freight
j. Monitor transfer freight in warehouse storage locations k. Communicate with other departments regarding solutions
Fulfilment
l. Fulfill of orders
m. Monitor warehouse storage locations
n. Liaise with warehouse planner for task/assignments
Knowledge/experience
- Freight forwarding, specifically Ocean and Air freight
- Knowledge of Industrial Equipment and Heavy Machinery.

Skills

- 510 Years Experience with forklifts, heavy machinery, and/or side loaders.

Working Environment
- Working Relationships: Interaction and collaboration with other departments
- Ambient Temperatures: Non climate controlled warehouse. Cold in winter/hot in summer
- Working hours: regular MonFri 7am5pm; AS NEEDED
