Weekend & Per Diem Caregiver Position – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Shard Villa Residential Care Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend & Per Diem Caregiver to join our team.
This position provides quality care and support to our residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and assistance to residents with daily needs
- Responding to resident call bells and ensuring resident safety and comfort
- Assisting with meals, dining support, and kitchen-related tasks as needed
- Participating in activities and engaging with residents
- Supporting a positive, respectful, and caring atmosphere
- Documenting care and communicating resident needs to the team
- Willingness to learn medication assistance/medication administration under the guidance and training of our RN (if interested)
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required — we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to provide respectful care to older adults
