The Role:
As a Property Manager, you will oversee a stabilized portfolio of approximately 200 single-family residential homes (average rent ~$2,500/month). You will lead a small team (2–3 direct reports), manage owner relationships, drive operational performance, and ensure compliance across your portfolio. This is a hybrid role designed for a confident leader who can balance financial oversight, team leadership, and high-level communication with residents and owners.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of property management experience (single-family preferred)
- Proven leadership experience managing a team
- Strong understanding of leasing, renewals, delinquency management, and tenant relations
- Financial acumen with the ability to interpret owner statements and portfolio performance
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio with structure and efficiency
- Valid Texas Real Estate License (required)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (required)
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of approximately 200 single-family rental homes
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and property owners
- Monitor rent collection, delinquency, and overall portfolio financial performance
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure timely, cost-effective service
- Conduct property inspections and ensure homes meet company standards
- Develop strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income
- Provide owners and investors with performance updates and reporting
- Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable local, state, and federal laws
