Job Overview
Assist client lead with:
- Perform client accounting services to include client communications, analyzing client accounting records/documents, general ledger activities, bookkeeping, tax accounting, payroll, information reporting, and support for income tax return preparation
- Leverage technology to support client accounting process
- Work with clients to minimize federal, state, and local tax liability
- Research and consult on various tax and accounting projects

- Experience using Bill.com also a plus!
Responsibilities/Duties
Assisting with:
- Act as a key contact for assigned clients and business entities with supervision
- Provide monthly or quarterly bookkeeping for clients, with different levels of services, from support and assistance to full-service bookkeeping and accounting including payroll and sales tax
- Work through the entire accounting cycle including data retrieval, data entry, reconciliation, creating financial statements, analyzing the financials, and reporting to management
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and analysis relating to accounting information
- Communicate with clients to obtain accounting records, answers to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
- Manage third party apps and software
- Manage third party payroll processes
- Apply our systems and procedures to create standardized work papers and records
- Gather financial information and prepare tax filings for various compliance reporting requirements (1099s, personal property tax statements, worker comp audits)
- Work closely with tax team members to complete year-end close and book/tax schedules
- Assist with client adherence to compliance-related deadlines such as extensions, tax estimate requirements, tax return filings, and other tax-related services
- Accumulate, analyze, and process financial accounting data used to prepare tax returns, tax planning, and estimated tax payments
