Shannon Dental Health Center is looking for a Full-Time Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will:
- be proficient at coordinating patient appointments and timelines with dynamic staffing schedule.
- be courteous and professional at greeting patients in-person and over the phone.
- interact with patients and insurance companies to clarify eligibility and benefits.
- answer and handle phone calls in a professional manner.
- manage patient communications, including text, email, and phone messages.
- have exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- possess knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the efficiency of the daily flow of the clinic.
- Greet and check patients in for their appointments, happily answering any questions.
- Assist with patient check-out procedure, including presentation of treatment plans, collection of patient co-pays, and schedule future appointments.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process patient information using EHR systems.
- Coordinate with insurance providers as needed.
- Support front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems.
