Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this role will be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. They must ensure compliance with daily operational procedures in the Food and Beverage Department while maintaining food and beverage safety and quality according to hotel specifications.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with the General Manager, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff. Additionally, the candidate will take food and beverage orders, serve drinks and food, and assist in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred
- Possess ServSafe and/or food safety training certification
- Have alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS)
- Speak English fluently, with Spanish being a plus
- Have knowledge of local activities and attractions suitable for clientele
