Compensation: $45K–$60K base performance bonuses tied to qualified applicants and hires
Why this role exists
We're scaling our roofing sales team and the best closers don't come from Indeed — they come from seeing our brand, our culture, and our top reps' paychecks on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. This role owns that pipeline end-to-end: create the content that pulls applicants in, then screen and move them through the hiring funnel.
This is a builder role. You'll have creative control, a real budget, and a direct line to the owner.
What you'll actually do
Content creation (60% of your time)
- Produce 5–10 short-form videos per week across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Capture day-in-the-life footage with our sales reps, install crews, and storm chases
- Write hooks, scripts, and captions that make people want to sell roofing for Shamrock
- Run our employer-brand presence on LinkedIn and Facebook
- Track what's working — views, applicants per video, cost per qualified lead
Recruiting funnel (40% of your time)
- Respond to inbound applicants within 24 hours
- Run initial 15-minute phone screens against a defined scorecard
- Schedule qualified candidates with the sales manager for ride-alongs and final interviews
- Maintain the applicant tracker (CRM/spreadsheet) so nothing slips
- Follow up with candidates who ghost or stall — recover the ones worth recovering
Requirements:
Who we're looking for
Required
- Portfolio or active social accounts showing you can produce short-form video that actually performs (don't just say you can — show us)
- Comfortable on camera and behind it
- Strong phone presence and written communication
- Organized enough to run a candidate pipeline without dropping people
- Self-starter — we'll give you direction, not a script for every video
Bonus points
- Experience in trades, home services, or recruiting
- Basic editing chops in CapCut, Premiere, or similar
- You've hired or screened candidates before
- You've grown a social account from zero
Not required
- A marketing degree
- Prior roofing knowledge (we'll teach you)
