Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a residential roofing contractor serving homeowners across the Midwest and South. We’re known for quality work and community involvement, and we proudly hire veterans. We’re adding sales consultants to our local team.
About the Role
You’ll meet homeowners, inspect roofs, explain repair and replacement options, and guide each project from the first inspection through final payment. You’ll find many of your customers by knocking doors in the neighborhoods you work, plus referrals and some company-provided leads. Consultants who do well can move up to a Project Manager role.
Position Type and Pay
This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Pay is commission-based, with structured training pay while you learn. There’s no hourly wage or base salary. You never pay a fee to join, and you don’t need to buy inventory or a starter kit.
Training period (first 20 claims):
- $125 for each insurance claim you file
- $125 for each approved scope
- 25% commission on your first 5 completed projects
After the training period (once you’ve completed 5 projects):
- 35% commission per project
- 40% commission after $250,000 in closed sales
- 50% commission after $500,000 in closed sales
- Company truck after $750,000 in closed sales
Earnings depend on how many projects you sell and finish.
What You’ll Do
- Meet homeowners through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and provided leads
- Inspect roofs, gutters, and siding, and document any damage
- Help homeowners understand the insurance claim process
- Prepare and present project proposals
- Coordinate projects from signed agreement through completion and payment

Requirements:
What You’ll Need
- 18 or older with a valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with door-to-door outreach, since it’s a core part of the role
- A reliable vehicle that can carry a ladder (company trucks may be available to drivers 21 with a clean driving record)
- A smartphone
- Able to climb a ladder, walk a roof, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Self-motivated, coachable, and organized
