Shamin Hotels is looking for a Rooms Inspector at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront to ensure every guest room meets our standard of cleanliness and comfort before it's released. Working alongside the Housekeeping Supervisor, you inspect completed rooms, flag anything that falls short, and help keep the housekeeping team running to standard.
What You'll Do
This is a full-time position. Open availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business demands. To maintain full-time hours year-round, inspectors should expect to clean rooms and take a board during staffing shortages and slower off-season periods.

What You'll Do
- Inspect completed guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean, in good repair, and meet brand standard before rooms are released.
- Provide clear, objective feedback to room attendants on quality and consistency.
- Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
- Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for repair.
- Confirm room attendants have the supplies and PPE they need to meet standard.
- Monitor overall cleanliness of assigned areas, including public spaces and entrances.
- Clean guest rooms and take a board directly as needed — during staffing shortages, high occupancy, or the off-season — to support the team and maintain consistent hours.
