Do you have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in a job done right? Shamin Hotels is looking for a Rooms Inspector at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront to ensure every guest room meets our standard of cleanliness and comfort before it's released. Working alongside the Housekeeping Supervisor, you inspect completed rooms, flag anything that falls short, and help keep the housekeeping team running to standard.

• Inspect completed guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean, in good repair, and meet brand standard before rooms are released.
• Provide clear, objective feedback to room attendants on quality and consistency.
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for repair.
• Confirm room attendants have the supplies and PPE they need to meet standard.
• Monitor overall cleanliness of assigned areas, including public spaces and entrances.
• Clean guest rooms and take a board directly as needed — during staffing shortages, high occupancy, or the off-season — to support the team and maintain consistent hours.

This is a full-time position. Open availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business demands. To maintain full-time hours year-round, inspectors should expect to clean rooms and take a board during staffing shortages and slower off-season periods.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience required; room inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to hold rooms to a consistent standard.
• Ability to give clear, respectful feedback to room attendants.
• Working knowledge of safety and PPE requirements in a housekeeping environment.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
• Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A guest-first attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

Salary : $18 - $19
