Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the property’s appearance and safety standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and update work orders promptly.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving electrical work, plumbing repairs, or mechanical system upgrades.
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from guests or staff to resolve issues promptly while providing excellent customer service.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Skilled in welding, carpentry, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, and painting.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to electrical equipment and building systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices.
- Experience with CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of supervising or leading small teams when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building interior maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising maintenance projects or teams preferred.
