Position Overview:
As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers in our establishment's bar or lounge area. You will take and deliver drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience while enjoying cocktails and other beverages.
Essential Job Functions:
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, engage with them in a friendly and professional manner, and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
Order Taking: Take drink orders from customers, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the cocktail menu, wine list, and other beverage offerings, and be able to make recommendations based on customer preferences and tastes.
Drink Preparation: Work closely with bartenders to prepare and serve drinks to customers efficiently and accurately, following established recipes and presentation standards.
Upselling: Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote additional drink options, upgrades, or specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Table Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and seating areas in the bar or lounge, including clearing empty glasses and plates, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment.
Cash Handling: Process payments for drink orders, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and processing payments accurately and efficiently.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to alcohol service laws and regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated individuals when necessary.
