Position Overview

Catch 31 is seeking an experienced, high-energy Cocktail Server to join our fast-paced, elevated bar environment. This is not a traditional serving role — our cocktail servers are highly interactive, knowledgeable about spirits and mixology, and thrive in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate is confident discussing craft cocktails, wine, and beer, excels in guest engagement, and delivers memorable experiences in a vibrant oceanfront atmosphere.

What You’ll Do

• Provide engaging, attentive, and professional cocktail service in a high-volume bar setting

• Take accurate drink orders and communicate effectively with bartenders

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktails

• Make personalized recommendations and confidently upsell premium selections

• Maintain clean, organized tables and bar areas throughout service

• Process payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions

• Follow all alcohol service laws, including ID verification and responsible service standards

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Previous high-volume cocktail or bar serving experience required

• Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar service standards

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

• Professional communication skills and high guest engagement ability

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry beverage trays

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Previous high-volume cocktail or bar serving experience required

• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktails; ability to confidently discuss and recommend beverage selections

• Comfortable with elevated, fast-paced bar interaction and high guest engagement

• Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to multitask under pressure

• Clear, professional communication and a team-oriented mindset

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry beverage trays

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
