Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Bus tables promptly after guests finish their meals, clearing away dishes and utensils efficiently.
- Help maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff by providing assistance during busy service periods.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food service operations in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
