Position Overview
We are actively seeking experienced and professional Servers and Bartenders to join our dynamic team at The Overlook Restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their craft, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are passionate about hospitality.
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, including evening and weekend shifts. Applicants MUST be 21 years of age or older.
What You'll Do
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to members and guests
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and safety standards
- Guide guests through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and upselling techniques
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas at all times
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support team members during busy service periods and contribute to a collaborative work culture
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and uphold responsible service practices
- Assist with special events by setting up, serving attentively during the occasion, and breaking down after completion
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting (serving and/or bartending)
- Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and work effectively with a team
- Solid knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and food pairings
- Experience with banquets, weddings, or event service is strongly preferred
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings/weekends/holidays as needed
