What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/ Server position at Shadow & light Restaurant?
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled bartender/ server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons, however experience is not necessary. Hours will fluctuate and we are looking for someone that is flexible and eager to help with events, parties, and reservations that may run outside of our operating hours.
Duties
- Bartend
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age when taking orders
- Serve, bus tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar and dining area
- Provide exceptional service to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of TOAST POS system a plus
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles preferred
- Familiarity with food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively
